Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Citizenship Confidence (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
Use of the App
The App is a study tool for Canadian citizenship test preparation. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Government of Canada or Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Content is derived from publicly available study materials, including the Discover Canada study guide.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
- Copy, redistribute, or republish the App's content without permission.
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems or other users' accounts.
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the App or extract content.
Intellectual Property
All content in the App, including questions, explanations, design, and code, is the property of Citizenship Confidence or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the App's content without prior written consent.
Subscriptions
- Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store.
- You can cancel at any time through your device's App Store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policies.
- Prices may change with reasonable notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the App. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. The App provides practice questions for educational purposes only. We do not guarantee that using the App will result in passing the Canadian citizenship test. Results depend on individual study effort and other factors. Question content is believed to be accurate but may contain errors; we are not responsible for inaccuracies.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Citizenship Confidence and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of data, exam results, or interruption of service.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
